Tumut Fly Fishing Chief Instructor, Tane Kerem will teach you his special techniques that he has mastered and developed over the years to make you an accomplished Fly Fisher at the end of the course. The lessons are one-on-one unless all of the participants are in one group (yes, you can bring your friends and loved ones!). All lessons are professional and personalized, Tane will show you the fly patterns, how to rig the tippets, leaders, how to cast exactly where the fish are with absolute accuracy, know the critical knots, and much more.
The start of the lessons is a sit-down session where you will learn all the gear and rods, explain what the gear is, what it's supposed to do, how to use it, and then show you some of the various fly rods, which you will try to see which rod suits you best ( there are hundreds of rod varieties) show you the knots, safety, and more.
Fly fishing is a technique and art form, it takes a lot of skill, instruction, and practice to do it safely. After the lesson, you will know exactly which style of fly rod is the right one for you and you will have the confidence to fly fish like a pro.
