Sylvia’s Kitchen Tasmania is a small friendly boutique home-style cooking school in the riverside city of Launceston in the picturesque Tamar Valley, Tasmania, Australia, established in 2007.

Specialising in quality hands-on Cooking Classes with a Difference, Sylvia welcomes you into her own Launceston kitchen where she loves sharing her professional experience so you can cook with confidence and be inspired. What do you need to know?

Class numbers are kept small enabling a very personal experience with affordable quality hands-on tuition and step-by-step recipe instruction. Please wear comfortable clothing with close fitting sleeves or ones that can be rolled up and closed non-slip shoes. All equipment is provided including knives and an apron. Please advise any allergies when booking.
